- This has been one of JYC-NCL Pte Ltd effort to promote healthy lifestyle and welfare of our
migrant workers whom have contributed to our nation building.
- Migrant Workers Carnival Dormitory Road show "Embracing Differences"
- This Road show is part of the Migrant Workers’ Centre yearly outreach program to educate the migrant workers. It comprises of games, carnival stalls and educational booths.
- SingPost Road Show
- This road show is to create awareness among foreign workers of the SingPost‘s CASHOME Remittance to India service.
- NEA Workshops
- The NEA (National Environmental Agency) aims to train selected foreign workers to become the role models for their peers and spread good social habits like cleanliness and crime prevention.
- International Migrant Day – Talent Quest 2010 for migrant workers
- To mark the International Migrants Day, ten selected finalists from various dormitories in Singapore (including SCAL dorms) took part in the Migrant Workers Talent Quest held at The Float@Marina Bay on 19/12/2010 . Organized by the MWC about 12,000 migrant workers cheered the contestants on, as each of the finalists took to the stage to serenade the audience. The eventual winner goes to an Indian national,Mr Karu Raju from Hiap Seng Engineering who resides at SCAL dorm and he walks away with the cash prize of $3000 and a trophy . For the 1st and 2nd runner up, they too received a cash prize of $2000, $1000 and a trophy each respectively.
- 10 million safe meal served – Exxon Mobile
- Exxon Mobile has calculated by the number of workers, the number of meals per day and the number of meals taken per day. They congratulate us for achieving such an amazing feat of 10 million safe meals served, no diarrhea and no food poisoning.
- 500,000 Safe Man Hours – Exxon Mobile
- This events shows that JYC-NCL Pte Ltd has a very good track records dealing with dormitories for the past 10 years. Zero Incidents or accidents occur in the dormitories. Exxon Mobile took the time to congratulate us on this fantastic achievement and it will motivate JYC-NCL Pte Ltd to serve our clients better.
